Typ IV - Spättyp-Reaktion
Verzögerter Reaktionstyp, der durch T-Lymphozyten vermittelt wird. Auslöser sind häufig Metall-Ionen oder niedermolekulare Substanzen. Eine typische Erkrankung ist das allergische Kontaktekzem. Die Beschwerden treten meist 12 - 72 Stunden nach dem Kontakt auf.
